Clenaeating is a website dedicated to cleaner eating and giving up the foods that bring you down in life. Our names are Cliff and Dena (get it?!) No? Darn. Okay: Cliff + Dena= Clena.. and we will be eating Clean 🙂 We will be doing a detox for the month of January and will be using Dr. Hyman’s 10-Day Detox as a guide. We will be consuming none of the following with a few exceptions:
- Gluten
- All Grains
- Dairy
- Beans, or Legumes *
- Sugar- All sugar products or anything containing sugar
- Processed and factory-made foods
- All refined and processed vegetable oils
- Alcohol*
- Caffeine*
We will introduce:
- 7-8 Cups of water a day
- 7+ hours of sleep a night
One of us will do a daily update on how the detox is going and we will be tracking weight/measurements along with our workouts and the meals we eat.
*Note: Cliff will be making some exceptions by eating legumes when he eats natural peanut butter in his morning shakes. In addition, Cliff will continue to consume some caffeine by drinking Matcha Tea and he is debating having 1 drink of scotch a week (Mandatory if the cowboys lose during the playoffs)
